I must confess, I am the antithesis of the coffee snob. I'll drink my four cups per day at work, but only the pre-ground Kroger/Meijer brand that comes in a can. And not too strong, either. When it's really dark, I just can't stomach it.

I've given up drinking coffee on the weekend because we only keep the whole-bean upscale stuff at home and I end up getting a nasty headache if I have even one cup. If for whatever reason, I do have a cup at home, I prefer the Ghirardelli chocolate-raspberry. That stuff is like candy. Tasty!

i am a coffee snob.

i ONLY drink star bucks. i have a single brew pot that makes a 16oz road cup, i drink that on the drive to work, and i go once or twice per week to get a second cup of star bucks coffee. my favorite blend is Yukon, but im really starting to like African blends.

a voice from Coffee mad Seattle

I generally just have one cup of coffee each mornings at work. If I have more than one cup I get sleepy and often get an upset stomach. I can't stand Starbuck's coffee the stuff is overroasted trash! I prefer Tully's or Seattle's Best. With all that said I can recall Seattle before the town went coffee mad.....it was a better town then.

We had a Seattle's Best across from my office, but Starbucks gobbled it up last year. Very sad. They had really good coffee. (I particularly liked their iced coffees.)

I hate coffee snobs. I would rather sit at an old fashioned diner, go to a country restaurant, a donut shop, or brew the Folgers or Maxwell House myself than take a sip of the crap at Starbucks, Cup O Joe's, etc ... etc ... You think gas prices are high? Just realize that the piss at Starbucks totals out to about $32.00/gallon.

Listen folks, coffee should taste like coffee, not vanilla fucking ice cream, toffee, cocoa, hot chocolate, fruits, nuts, berries, menthol, or anything fucking else expect for coffee!!! :mad2:

To me, the height of coffee snobbery means paying $1.05 for a 16 oz cup of Tim Horton's. :)
