Another memo to OSU students on campus..

Saw a guy on one of those long skateboards bite it today by University Hall....and it made my day. Dude was weaving in and out of people and tried to go around this chick, caught a wheel in the grass and flew through the air wailing his arms and all. He lands with an abrupt ooooughhhhhh on the sidewalk. Bag goes flying and lands a few yards away from him. I was glad to see him go down.

I swear if another biker gets in my way or starts some shenanigans I will throw a stick in your spokes (or better yet AT YOU), if you test me, you will not like the result. Consider this your last warning

I saw a guy pushing his bike on one wheel. His front wheel was bent pretty badly. Fucker. I bet he hit someone.

Nothing bad happened today, though. Good things happened, actually.!

Heard about one of the most priceless things ever today with a biker on campus. Well as most of you know, last night it sleeted and it turned to ice on the ground overnight. Well a chick I was working with today said she was coming out of Pomerene right beside mirror lake and was walking beside the lake. Well they saw a biker flying down the sidewalk that goes from up by the main library down to the lake, and he couldn't stop. SPLASH. Dude goes into the lake face first, bike, bookbag, body and all. Was trying to get ontop of the ice and couldn't because it was too thin he kept breaking through it. She said the dudes face was bloody from breaking the ice with his face. Ouch. He did get out of the water, and started walking his bike back to where he came from. OSU students, that's why you don't ride bikes on campus (or at least when it's icy). Hope he's okay though.

Either you love death, or you left something out.

Nope, I just have such a hatred for bikers on campus because I've almost been hit by them walking about half a dozen times in 3.5 years. Hope it wasn't any serious injury though.

I knew a girl who got drilled by a bike crossing the oval right before her formal. She was ready to stab a mofo.

The all time best are the people that ride down Oletangy River Road in the middle of a lane during rush hour on their bikes

I bike regularly on paved trails during the non-winter months. They are riding/walking trails. There are signs specifically instructing walkers to remain to the right so bikers can pass them. So what happens?

Time and again, I come upon a pair of walkers, next to each other blocking the entire trail talking a mile a minute, oblivious to their surroundings. I end up having to slow down - or stop - announce my presence and they look at me like I did something to them.

One of these days I'm just going to lower my shoulders, peddle full bore between them like a bowling ball and watch the pins fly. :sneaky:
