user: i got this strange error in XYZ application
me: we sent an email to staff explaining that we were going to change some settings and that you would have to reboot your PC
user: i rebooted yesterday
me: ok, well then how about rebooting now
user: i'm really busy
me: with an application that doesn't work for you right now
user: i dont have time to reboot my pc
me: ok, well xyz app wont work until you do - happy holidays
