Another Buckeye basher's invaluable "two cents"....

So like i said..I wrote that guy a letter, he actually took time out to read it and send a response..Here is my letter..

Let me just first start off by saying I was absolutely disgusted by the letter you wrote about Saturday’s game. It actually was making me sick to read it. I don’t understand what the point of your letter was. Did you honestly write an article just to bash Troy Smith? Come on. <o ="">></o>>

“The season is over. I wish <st1 =""><st1 ="">Ohio State</st1></st1>'s schedule was like a video game so I could just "simulate" all its games until <st1:state><st1 =""></st1></st1:state>because there's no reason to watch any of them.”<o =""></o>

This comment being the main reason I was disgusted by your article. If you’re a buckeye fan, you’re a buckeye fan, whether we win 12 or 8, you’re a buckeye fan. There is always a reason to watch buckeye football, its called being a fan of your football team. Maybe its time for you to jump off the bandwagon, and let the real buckeye fans watch the rest of the season. Do me a favor, don’t watch the <st1:state><st1 ="">Michiga</st1>n</st1:state> game. If there is no reason to watch any other games, then you should have no reason to watch the <st1:state><st1 ="">Michigan</st1></st1:state> game as well. We’ve got plenty of real FANS to cheer on our team, we don’t need another bandwagon jumper like yourself

Sure this loss stung a little bit. And sure the texas loss still sits kinda funny with me. But that’s what happens. That’s football. And no matter what, win or loss, im gonna stand up for my buckeyes and cheer for them like we are playing for the national championship. <o =""></o>
<o =""></o>
Do you actually think Justin Zwick would have won the game for us? Please.. I agree, sometimes Smith does run a little bit too much, but once again, would you rather have Justin Zwick in as QB?? <o =""></o>
<o =""></o><st1 ="">Penn State</st1> came ready to play, and they outplayed us on both sides of the ball. There is no reason to point fingers at anyone, lets just play out the rest of the season, run the table, and hop for a good bowl game. What else can you do? No reason to whine about someone.<o =""></o>

In your free time, go ahead and read this article. http://www.the-ozone.net/football/2005/PennState/sundaymorning.htm Maybe you can take some pointers from the guys over there..<o =""></o>

Thanks for reading my column, but you've evidently fell victim to the PR machine that is 'fan loyalty' or, as I call it, stupidity.

If you're going to watch Ohio State football no matter what, there's something wrong. I'm not going to mindlessly follow a team or anyone just to be loyal. If you want to waste your time watching a team that's going no where, go ahead. That's your choice and you're perfectly within your rights to do so, but I have better things to do.

I watch football to be entertained, not frustrated. Ohio State has frustrated me this season, which isn't fun, so I'm going to spend the rest of my Saturday afternoons doing other things than watching them on TV. I fail to see the problem with that.

Are you going to rip Pittsburgh residents for not attending PNC Park to watch the Pirates? They're a terrible team and people rightly choose not to watch them. You should be loyal to what entertains you not just watch Ohio State because its Ohio State football.
