Golf coaches pull some fucked up shit all the time. I know nothing about the kid in question, but the stuff he claims sounds pretty valid. I had a coach call a team meeting through the captain and told him to specifically not call me. When I didn't show up for the meeting (which I didn't know about) I was called out in front the entire team as not being a team player. For some reason, college coaches are snakes. Some of the stuff I saw other coaches pull was pretty out of line as well. Would you bring a kid over from India and pull his scholarship in the middle of his freshman year? Didn't think so. It is also very common to pit kids against each other in order to get rid of a player they don't like. The list goes on and on.

I saw some of the head games one of my daughter's coaches played at the high school level, so I can believe that some of this stuff goes on. In Guliani's case though there are numerous accounts of him just being a total ass....what do they call it.....conduct detrimental to the team....It will be interesting to see where this goes....

I dont know who is right and who is wrong here but one question comes to mind. What ever happened to honesty, integrity and loyalty? Tough love discipline is sometimes necessary but cutting throats? Has this become the American way in both directions?

It started disappearing long ago along with "it's society's fault" and "it takes a village".
When we as a nation stopped holding people accountable for a way of life and anything was "ok" we started slipping as a nation.
