Ancient Roman's advice on handling women

I've been reading some writings by Horace lately. Along with Ovid, he's among the greatest of Roman poets. Obviously I'm reading ancient poetry so Thump has another excuse for calling someone a homo. :tongue2:

This poem was written in his older days, I believe. He lived from 65 BC to 8 BC. Here's an except from a poem he wrote, translated into English in 1973. I'm thinking this writing didn't improve his love life with the woman, but judge for yourself. Note - I skipped a few lines in the middle.

Old bitch, stinking
Old hag, asking me
"How come you can't get it up?"
You, with your black pit of a mouth,
A forehead time plows with wrinkles,
And a gaping ass, putrid between dried-up
Haunches, gaping like a sick cow-hole!
But what really turns me on
Are your horse-hung tits
And your sagging belly, your bone-dry thighs, those
Sloppy fat legs--agh!
....
Lying happy on your silk pillows,
Should my nerves go less rigid
And my prick
Less limp, just looking at you?
For you to lift my pride
Into action, your tongue needs to stop wagging
And get down to serious work.

Bill not to long and you'll be reciting that poem on a regular basis....
You may be right, here's my response to you:

For you to lift my pride
Into action, your tongue needs to stop wagging
And get down to serious work.
