Be safe and keep on alert over there.

The Air Force lost a lot of good people this past year when a mad man began shooting pilots in the back of the head as they sat at a table during a meeting. In some cases you can chalk these things up to insanity, to fundamentalism, to paranoia, to all of them, or to the enemy. It is a very volatile environment. Hopefully no more jarheads decide to shoot some video and fan the flames.

Will do gents. You know...this has the potential to expedite the French's departure from the country...who knows. If that happens, possible tensions between us and them...oh the Taliban are such a special group. One guy too...an AK clip only holds 30 rounds, so that's pretty insane to hit for 20. Sad, but intense. It's one thing to go outside the wire and get hit, but when you're exercising on your own FOB? Now we have to carry weapons to the pisser even...
