as someone who lives iN Florida, I just don't like the idea of flying up to Ohio without tickets already in hand and waiting 5 minutes before kickoff...I like to be in there well before kickoff for the warmups and band

My card has been charged, but no game assigned yet. I opted out of the expensive tickets this year since The Game is away. I got charged for the regular-price tickets, not the reduced-price ones, so by process of elimination that leaves Northern Illinois, Maryland or Minnesota.

Northern Illinois it is, I bet.

We got MSU...most expensive tickets 2 years in a row. I wonder if a majority are opting out of those games.

I imagine so. While I understand the athletic department wanting to get money that scalpers would otherwise charge, there's no way I'd pay that sort of price for a game that isn't a rivalry or a once-in-a-lifetime blueblood non-conference matchup.

I reckon these are the games I'd pay $150/ticket for:
  • M*ch*g*n
  • Notre Dame
  • Alabama
  • Texas
  • Southern Cal
  • Oklahoma

MSU has been the best team in the B1G other than us...I don't mind as much paying for that one for the quality of the game. But other than that and dUMb, I think only Alabama would entice me OOC.

$150 is barely above face anymore. I paid $250 for upper C deck against Texas and it was worth it. At the time, I thought that would be the only time I broke $200 for a single ticket....but anymore you're getting close to that for MSU, Wisconsin, or Ped State. (off eBay or stubhub.....us non-locals don't have as much access to better options)
