Up until now I didn't think the Clarret thing had hurt us at all, I now have to amend that opinion.

Disagree. IMO that is a kneejerk reaction to losing a kid we all wanted.stowfan said:

This is an example of how much damage the Clarett/Smith/ESPN stuff has done to tOSU. I live in the same media market as Rico and his parents and the coverage of tOSU has universally assumed that the ESPN stuff is true and indicative of a corrupt program.
If I didn't know the real story, and only knew what I saw on the media here in the East, I would't let my son go to tOSU either. Rico's dad said tOSU was where his heart was, but something overruled his heart. I'll bet is was parental pressure.
Wouldn't it be a sad irony for the McCoy family if UT got slapped with NCAA sanctions instead of tOSU?
