I told my wife they'd put in Nathan and he'd give up 2 runs in the 9th. It sucks when you know the mistakes ahead of time.

The ump that missed that call down the left field line on Mauer's 'should-have-been-a-ground-rule-leadoff-double' should be removed from the rest of the playoffs this year. That was inexcusable. He's straddling the line in clear view of the play, which is about the only thing he's gotta do the whole day, and he blows it.

That's not like calling balls and strikes, or missing a call on a close play when a tag is being made. It's a fucking ball landing inside a line you're standing on.

Phil Cuzzi should be umpiring Little League games in his native New Jersey, not playoff games involving the Yankee$. But he's got a union so job performance is secondary to seniority. This guy fucks up every time he's in the playoffs, and could be accused of perhaps being a fan of the Yank$, given his track record.
