I loved Manny, but I would take this guy before him



The heroics against the Bastards from the Bronx, the ALDS hitting streak and more clutch postseason hits than I can remember.

And as much as it pains me to say it, they both have a ways to go to catch up to Reggie Jackson. He didn't get the name Mr. October by accident.

No Boston = No more rings for Manny

not a bad choice, but Manny helped create Pig Papi. Go look at his numbers without Manny behind him (pre-Boston, and August/September of this year). Not even close to what he's done when Manny has his back.
