Why isn't Cocca in there all the time. I am going to say this, Do we miss Manny being Manny? Manny seems to be productive for LA.

Manny was crappy in the clubhouse and not a team player. Bay is the man.... not as good of a hitter as Manny, but not far behind. Combine that with his team playing mentality... and Manny isn't missed. Manny wouldn't have made a difference tonight.

Coco isn't normally a strong hitter. Just a good fielder with speed.

Seems like everyone in the world (except me) loves Boston. Just to test someone, we asked someone I know who her favorite Boston Red Sox player was. David Ortiz, of course. Her all-time favorite? Joe fuckin' DiMaggio.

The epitome of why I'm tired of Boston.

/rant over and no offense to you true Boston fans here. I can't watch sports TV without hearing about the Sox. :(

Joe is either 1 or 2 all time best hitters to ever play the game, best CenterFielder to ever play the game (yes he kick Willie Mays' ass in this department), and he got to fuck Mailyn Monroe for a few years.

Yeah, this is exactly why I'm tired of the Red Sox. The true fans are awesome, there are just so many "fans" out there.. I'm sure you know what I'm saying. Your team has had some recent success. :tongue2:

Joe DiMaggio was the man. We kind of shook our heads in disbelief when she made the statement. She moved to Gator country, though. Kind of shows that she sucks in general, eh?

I'll admit I'm new to the bandwagon (pre-championships though). I gave up on baseball for years after the strike. Cal's streak, then the HR chase, then the '01 World Series, then the '02 postseason, all kinda hooked me hopelessly again.

Bought the ExtraInnings package from DirecTV in '03. For the 1st time in my life, I had a CHOICE of which teams to watch, instead of being force fed Cubs and Braves games with no "home" team anywhere around.

Todd Walker, former all american 2b for LSU was with the Sox. So I started watching all of their games, and fell in love with their style of play. Been on the bandwagon ever since.

Yeah, I know the kind. I went to an LSU themed wedding a few months back. All of the wedding party wore LSU jerseys (#15).

I asked all of the ones I spoke to "Who wore 15 for LSU last year?"
About 90% did not know.

How the FUCK can you call yourself a fan an NOT know that 15 was the STARTING QB!!!!!!
