On another note, was Dan Connor an influence in this game at all? I was watching the Pats game most of the night, but from what I saw, Dan Connor made no plays.

I noticed this too. He wasn't as much of an influence as he usually is. He did make a few plays, but nothing that greatly affected the game.

Well PSU got the win, but that display by Morelli was one of the most pathetic displays I've ever seen by a senior QB. As someone stated earlier it seems he just wants to see how hard he can throw the ball regardless of how far from his reciever it goes. The fact that he had the opportunity to play even after his pitiful first half is an indictment of this coaching staff. For the B10s sake it's time JoePa and his cronies go, as a Buckeye fan, I hope he stays forever.

If he could've had one less INT the outcome might have been different. His turnovers were awful.. It's unbelievable that the game was as close as it was. Even though MSU lost, I think the Big 10 gained a little respect and the Big East lost a little with that game. Too bad they didn't get the win.

I also think that this helps OSU. BC's apparently great run defense gave up 175 yards to MSU. We shut them down.

My girlfriend pointed out that Dan Connor (spelled Conner in the show) is Roseanne's husband. :shake:

I couldn't help but think the same thing about the run D as I watched that game. It really hit me when the announcers brought up BC's #1 ranked run defense and how easily Ringer was eating up 12 yard chunks play after play in the 3rd qtr. It is ironic that the #2 team in the ACC had such a hard time managing a B10 team that needed a win on the last Sat. of their season just to get into a bowl game. BC beat VaTech in the regular season and played them hard in the ACC title game, the same VaTech team the media is blowing up for the purposes of saying how much better LSU is than us, yet they struggled to beat a 7-5 (3-5) B10 team.

Big 10 2-1 now...

Any win by JoePa is good, as it prolongs the agony of Florida State.

If Bobbah has a few wins taken away, it will keep him at the Clown College until he wheels onto the sideline riding a Hoveround with accessory medical pump and IV lines dispensing an Aricept drip.
