Cut the kid a break. His father died when he was 11 and he had to leave home at the age of 17 to live with a teammate.

I keed, I keed!!) and didn't know what classes you needed to finish your degree doesn't mean this kid shouldn't/wouldn't know. Not calling you out, by any means, but I find this criticism of my criticism lacking.
