I think they are dangerous as hell. The town I used to live in had to create a law restricting them. The problem was kids were painting the tips or removing them and carrying them around places, like schools, churches, and shopping centers. The cops were getting so many calls the city had to pass a law.

I've got one I use for plinking squirrels that get on my bird feeders. It doesn't kill them, just irritates the hell out of them. I even got a laser scope for it that's pretty cool. I agree kids shouldn't have them, if you remove the red tip many of them look like real guns. Hell, a kid carried a cap gun into the football game here two weeks ago. He got mouthy, (drunk) and the cops had to restrain him. When they were cuffing him, they felt the cap gun in his pocket and all hell broke loose...

Yeah, there was a local school district that went under lockdown last year. A kid walked in with one of those guns sticking out of his backpack. Someone driving by the school saw the thing and called the cops. None of the kids worried because they knew it was fake, but the other person had no idea.

Damn djtide where'd you dig up that old photo? I haven't seen six color deserts in almost 15 years.

The Ma Deuce is sweet though....until you're the one stuck with the receiver on a 12 mile hump.
