Afternoon Nap?

One of life's sweetest pleasures(next to afternoon delight) is the afternoon nap. Do you take an afternoon nap on occasion?

Only when I'm on my ADD meds. cause they wear me out in the late afternoon. After a half hour nap...I'm good for the rest of the day.

If I plop down on the couch in front of the boob tube after getting home from work I'm usually out within 5 minutes.

I normally work Afternoons, but damn wouldn't a nap feel good right about now...??

I cannot sleep during the day, I feel terrible after. Better to go full speed from 6 to 6 or so, then be done... :)

If I nap during the day it can't be for more than an hour or I am muzzy and fuzzy-headed all the rest of the day.

If I lay down to take a nap I wake up like 7 hours later, my body just doesn't do the nap thing very well, and if I set an alarm I just wake up groggy and irritated.

God, I would love to be able to take an afternoon nap. I'm almost always nodding off at about 2:30 or so. I used to sleep sometimes during lunch when I had an office with a door, but where I work now everybody's in cubicles. No way to catch some z's in private.

on the weekends when the kiddo lays down for her nap, i usually lay down and catch a few myself.

I have a two year old and a four year old. Naps are a thing of the past, along with sleeping in.
