AFC Championship: Patriots at Colts(-2.5)

I bet the Raiders would love to have "Mr. Average"... Got to be one of the worst nicknames in football... The guy wins and puts up top 5 QB numbers... Nothing average about it...
No, teams win games. And yes the Raiders would love to have Mr. Average. But he would be just as shitty as anybody else they put there. Take Mr. A out of that system and he's nothing (which was proven when the phins took him out of his system by stealing his signals).

The Patriots blocked like tOSU vs. UF in that Phins game... That was the worst I've ever seen the OL look... Yikes...

I agree that teams win games... But Brady is a BIG part of that team...

Mr. Freeney will be visiting Mr. Brady's neighborhood so often he wont have time to put on his sneakers and cardigan.

The Pats luck will finally run out. It's time for Corky to go to the Super Bowl.

AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
Manning could be scrambling to make it past an old nemesis
Colts QB no longer just a pocket passer
Saturday, January 20, 2007
Alan Greenberg
THE HARTFORD COURANT

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. ? Just because he threw an NFL-record 49 touchdown passes in 2004 and is in the process of rewriting the record books on his way to the Hall of Fame, Peyton Manning isn?t perfect. If he had one fault, it was that Manning wasn?t good at ad-libbing, especially when protection broke down and he was forced to throw on the run.

Colts feed off Dungy's low-key style

MICHAEL MAROT

Associated Press

INDIANAPOLIS - Tony Dungy hears the constant debate about whether he's too nice to win a Super Bowl - maybe even too nice to reach one. Forget perceptions, Dungy doesn't buy it. "If you win, then the label seems to be good. If you lose, the same label can be bad," the Colts' coach said Friday. "I've never really worried too much about that, as long as you're winning."

Column: Belichick is the model NFL coach

NANCY ARMOUR

AP Sports Columnist

There are plenty of reasons Bill Belichick is the last guy you would want held up as the model NFL coach.
He's about as warm and cuddly as a cranky porcupine, and makes the folks at the CIA look like naive blabbermouths. And he dresses as if he plucked his clothes from a pile on the bedroom floor, like a college kid who rolled out of bed five minutes before class.

COMMENTARY
Belichick?s success masks flop with Browns
Sunday, January 21, 2007
BOB HUNTER

It was wedged between "How about this weather?" and "Man, that Greg Oden sure is big," the kind of verbal sucker punch you never expect during those casual moments of small talk that fill our days. "You know, if the Browns had only rehired Bill Belichick back in ?99 instead of Chris Palmer? "

AFC CHAMPIONSHIP
Sanders brings hammer down for Colts defense
Kamikaze safety?s return coincides with turnaround
Sunday, January 21, 2007

FROM WIRE REPORTS

In a quick attempt to size up Bob Sanders, one might ask, "What?s the big deal? " The safety?s generously listed 5-foot-8 height and the dreadlocks on his head bring to mind sun-splashed beaches awash in a mellow reggae vibe.

I wonder how many times we are going to be told that when it comes to being a better football fan nothing beats Sprint NFL Mobile.
