Apparently it's the guy people thought it was for years...sadly the twisted fuck died in prison already.

Feh. "Death bed" confession, relayed to the police from a family member of Otis's? How can anyone believe that? It's wishful thinking.

Not to mention, after more reading, that it was a. his niece that relayed the information(if that means nothing to you, read more about Otis) and b. she waited a decade to say anything. Why now? That sort of delay is always suspect.

Yeah, on one hand it's easy to believe it's wishful thinking to pin it on the guy who was Henry Lee Lucas' bitch. On the other hand, he's one who is certainly twisted enough to have done it. He's confessed and recanted so many times to so many crimes it's impossible to know.

Exactly. And one in the know just can't ignore the accepted fact that the niece in question was intimately involved in the crazyness at some point too so how is it her word can be trusted? And why did it take her so long? I just hate it when stuff like this happens because it answers nothing with facts that can be in any way verified. And that makes me feel bad for people like John Walsh. Will he ever be able to REALLY feel the murder was solved? I wouldn't be able to.
