Campus has changed a ton since I graduated in 99, but I'd simply advise you to do everything you can...play intramurals, hang out at every spot you've heard of or read about and explore the ones you observe (it kills me to hear tOSU folks say they've never tried the Stube or the Blue Danube or eaten a Burrito as big as their Head), go to games, skip class to chill on the Oval during the Spring, etc etc etc...

funny you mentioned the Dube... from today's Lantern:

Dube joins food, art

Decked out with by far the best ceiling decorations of any restaurant on campus, the Blue Danube restaurant north of campus can also boast being the best in the campus area.

The Dube's Monday through Friday Blue Plate specials prominently feature their open-faced sandwiches - meat loaf, roast beef and roast turkey - while other days offering chicken and dumplings or fish and chips.

But don't let your eyes get stuck looking only at those chicken and dumplings on the table. Sit back, take a breath, take a drink and survey the uniquely-decorated drop ceiling.

Each tile bears the work of artsy-types who have created depictions of everything from the Blockbuster logo to a portrait of The Doors' Jim Morrison. A number of designs include more abstract displays, which might begin to make more sense to non-artsy types as the BAC-level rises.

And since the Dube continues serving food late in the evening, a dinner-turned-drinking marathon will not end with hungry drunks scarfing down Nachos Bell Grandes early in the morning.

The only drawback to this decades-old fixture of cuisine north of campus - the tacky neon-blue lights that warp around the outside of the restaurant, making for a must-see look for a must-try restaurant.
