To be fair, Florida is a hike to get to from both VA and MA, especially for students when the game is the weekend before final exams. Also fans are more inclined to make a big trip for the bowl game rather than a conference championship game when they have to choose between the two.


Last year when the ACCCG was in Charlotte it was a big crowd, and this year it's completely sold out. Student tickets were gone in 6 minutes after ordering opened.

With Virginia Tech ridiculously ranked #3 in the USA Today poll Clemson could play a part in trying to avoid the NC game rematch by beating the Hokies, assuming Okie State wins.

With a minute left in the half Clemson turns 4th and long for VT into 1st and 10 thanks to a dumb roughing the passer penalty.

Tech gets a FG to tie it at halftime, 10-10.

Brings back memories of "Nine and three, Earle" from my college days.

Earle Bruce coached tOSU for 8 years. He went 9-3 six years in a row. He went 11-1 his first year (fuck USC!), and 6-4-1 his last.
