Our church has no bells.
I hope Steve19 won't mind me posting this, but this was too classic not to share:
Steve came through ATL on his way back to South Africa yesterday. The Next Mrs. Rugby and I met him for brunch and then I gave him the ten cent motor tour of the city. We'd been driving around for a while and had just passed Martin Luther King's birthplace and were going around the block to park and see the MLK tomb and eternal flame. We were talking about MLK and Mandela and apartheid/segregation in the South and diversity and tolerance. Real hearts and minds type stuff. I stopped at a red light behind an SUV less than a block from the tomb and flame. We noticed that the SUV had a Michigan license plate and Steve tells me I should hit it and knock it into the intersection. Then he says, I'm all for diversity, but there are some things I just will not tolerate.
Absolutely classic and somehow I think that Dr. King would understand. Cheers, Steve.
