Make sure you have a fence, due to legal issues. When I was in California,PA(a place which makes Springfield or Zanesville look downright cosmopolitan in comparison) for football camp a few years ago, a buddy of mine overheard a local in a bar saying his wife banned him from buyinbg fireworks that year, b/c he almost burned down the above ground pool the year before....yeeeee haaaaaw.............
