not sure im pretty sure my disc came with it..

I went to EB games and he said I could do it without a CD, just click on "play online" when in the game. So I did that, and then it has me set up my network connection or whatever. It asked me if I used ethernet or modem, and then asked me if my ISP needed a password, which it does cuz I have AOL broadband...but then I go to connect, and it times out every time. So now i'm not sure what to do. Will the startup disc help, or am I doing other things wrong?

There are probably different instructions for AOL users. Try looking up other forums or possibly PS2 support.
