The All Big-Ten Offense and individual awards will come later in the week.
With the Big Ten regular season wrapping up this past weekend, the conference officially began announcing the 2017 All-Big Ten teams today, and there were plenty of Buckeyes included on the various lists. Thus far, the Defense and Special Teams all-conference honorees have been announced.
On Wednesday, the B1G will announce the offensive All-Big Ten teams, and then on Thursday, the individual awards winners will be revealed.
On the defensive side of the ball, all four of OSU’s lineman made the coaches’ all-conference lists, with two Buckeyes named to the coaches’ first team; Tyquan Lewis (last year’s B1G d-lineman of the year) and Nick Bosa (potentially this year’s d-lineman of the year).
Fellow linemen Sam Hubbard was on the second team and Dre’mont Jones on the third. Other Buckeyes being honored were Denzel Ward (second team) and Jordan Fuller (third team).
Ohio State also had a handful of players receive honorable mentions; Jerome Baker, Jalyn Holmes, Damon Webb, and Chris Worley.
Despite a rocky year in the special teams department, Ohio State swept the third-team special teams honors, with Sean Nuernberger, Drue Chrisman, and Parris Campbell being singled out by the coaches.
Check out the full All-Big Ten lists, as selected by the coaches, below.
