How in the hell can anybody justify Oklahom/TCU's positions in the polls? There has been 1 game only. TCU travelled to Oklahoma's home field. TCU beat Oklahoma. How is it possible by any logic to have Oklahoma ranked ahead of TCU at this point? Why even play the damn games if you don't get credit for the victory? Ridiculous.

Okay, USC is #1...that's fine, that's how it really should be until they show some weakness. So my interest is with the battle for #2. I don't know why scUM should even be considered. Their defense is horrible. It was horrible towards the end of last year, and it still is. They lost their last 2 games of the season, to Ohio State and Texas, and then barely look like a top 25 team against N. Ill. How could anybody rank them ahead of Ohio State after what happened at the end of last year, and what happened Saturday. #2 is either Ohio State or Texas. I think Texas just may be the best team that isn't USC...but I don't think Ohio State is that far behind them, if any. Which is why I think playing at home will give Ohio State the advantage Saturday. Either way, I think Ohio State is going to win a tough game against a Texas team that is one of the best 3 teams in the country, whereas Michigan will likely roll over a HIGHLY OVERRANKED Notre Dame at home. I'm sure that will give voters a reason to keep kissing scUM's ass. How in the hell are they a #3 team? If scUM is the 3rd best team in the country, then the rest of college football must be downright awful.

i don't care where they play the game, ND WILL beat scUM... ND won last year when they were terrible... now that they have a clue what to do on O, they will roll in Ann Arbor (That WHORE!!!) if nothing else, Charlie Weis has proven that he knows how to get an offense into the endzone, and it didn't take him a bunch of Pro Bowlers to do it in Foxboro... if nothing else, LLLoyd and Hermann have showed an inability to adapt to the changes in the game, and are still trying to defend against a power I attack that is all but obsolete...

the calls for LLLoyd's head will get much louder this weekend...

It is nice to see the voters push tOSU over Tennessee and LSU though after a nice performance. I don't see how scUM jumped, but I understand the Ohio State jump. #4 vs. #2. Sweet!

UAB came within inches on a pass play that could have ties the game in the 4th quarter at Tennessee. It was the Vols dropping because of that, not really scUM moving up.

But scUM at #3 is a joke.

#3 in ESPN Power rankings

I like where we are! scUM is only there because of their name like ND used to be. #3 on ESPN Power is probably right! #2 across the board this time next week. Maybe even a few 1st place votes if we stomp the horns!
