#7 Ohio State 82, Iowa 63 (Final)

Run,Run,Run! An excellent opportunity to get out and run against Iowa. Back to what I've said for a month now, incorporate Greg into our "slash-n-dash" offense. Shoot good shots. REBOUND. Play sound perimeter defense. The game should be a blowout and its time our freshmen grow into veteran basketball players now. I don't think Iowa should score 50 on us but that totally depends on the perimeter defense. Final score should be around 84-48 but will probably be closer to 73-55.

I expect to see Conley continue to step it up and get better. He keeps amazing me with his shot getting better. this will open the inside up a bit more with teams not being to lay off of him. In return this will only contribute to his assist's down low to Oden.

Am I the only one that would like to see us go big? By no means do I mean all the time, I just think it would be interesting to see Oden, Twiggs and Hunter on the floor together. These guys together could be very effective against teams like Fla.

As for Iowa... Thank god Brunner is gone. That dude had his way with us in the Big11 tourney last year. Bucks roll tomorrow, 86-71

IT is Basketball day in Ohio. Sweet!
Iowa should give us a better Game. Perhaps Matta can continue the team mix and talents. This is a time in the season to work at getting a lot better on both sides of the ball.
we now can think aboutn getting ready for the NCAA's. Now that sounds good and brought a smile to my face.
:oh:

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH

This must be the reason Ohio State men?s basketball coach Thad Matta likes to recruit players who have what he calls a "high basketball IQ." They learn quickly. A week ago, coming off a loss at Wisconsin, Matta was besieged by questions about his team?s seemingly dysfunctional offense, mixing like oil and water more than a month after the addition of 7-foot center Greg Oden.
