If you aren't familiar, Charles Fort is one of the original collectors of tales of the strange, unexplainable, and just plain weird. Rains of frogs and fishes, natural formations that look like other things (people for example), stories of the psy sciences,etc. He loved strange deaths, weird stories and myths, bizarre animals and more.
He published a magazine that is still available today, called the "Fortean Times."
It can be a fun read, taking it all with a grain of salt of course. Anyway, the online magazine site is doing a version of the recent "vote for the new seven wonders of the world" only its, of course, Fortean style items.
