7 Bold Predictions for 2012

Wisky is without Russell Wilson and Paul Chryst. If their QB isn't much of a passing threat, Wisconsin becomes 1 dimensional and stopping James White and Monte Ball doesn't sound too hard.

We did a pretty good job of it this past season, holding them to 101 yards on 22 carries (4.6 ypc), with 40 yards coming on one carry by Ball. Take out that 40-yarder and it's 61 yards on 21 carries (2.9 ypc). And that was having to worry about Wilson's mobility...

My understanding is that there are no rules for how the Heisman voters need to vote. They are asked to vote for the top 3 most outstanding players (or something like that). It has nothing to do with the player's position, team record, or number of years playing. Then the top so-many players get invited. I don't know how the committee chooses the number - sometimes it's 3, sometimes it's 6.

Unless you're thinking that Ohio State's post-season eligibility will affect their players' rewards eligibility? It might affect the voters' choices, but it shouldn't affect their eligibility.

Zurp's right. Barkley from USC was a candidate this year - he wasn't quite good enough to make the list of finalists, but their postseason ban didn't affect him.

I don't like the prediction about Ohio State winning a close one against Michigan. I want the Buckeyes to beat the ever-living [Mark May] out of those scUM. I want 42-7. I want to see Denard pancaked into the turf after the first play, crying on the sideline as the game slips away, and shoveling his boyfriend's mansauce into his piehole for consolation.

I want Urban to stomp down on the gas (and on their windpipe) and not let up. Stay aggressive until Fatty Hoke gets an aneurysm. Who's with me???

I'm in! Add that DR will be tucked into a fetal ball and sucking his thumb after getting pancaked every other pass play and we're there.

And for my not so bold prediction.

There will be a satellite dish on the wall outside our apartment before the season begins this year and I WILL see every game aired without having to deal with annoying buffering while watching live streams.
