When the ball contacts the backboard and any part of the ball is above the rim during a field goal attempt, it is considered to be on its downward flight. In such a case, it is goaltending when the ball is touched by a player as long as it has a possibility of entering the basket.
That it's practically impossible to hit the backboard on a layup and have the ball be below the rim.Do you know?
What's your point?

speaking of kaleb and fouls, i have no idea what ho1tmann was thinking with under 40 to go. had the chance to pull him on defense. absolutely no reason to risk the second foul.I know we had some sloppy passing to end the half, but I love how much depth we have, how we are moving on offense, how the ball is moving, and especially how we do not have to hold our collective breath hoping Caleb doesn't get into foul trouble because Liddel can absolutely hold his own.
Love the depth.
Hot dang. You're a gentleman and a scholar!!! In the old days you'd be getting a lot of greenies!
Yes and if Gaffney can figure it out we will be a very scary team. And what’s crazy is Jallow hasn’t even played a minute yet this yearI know we had some sloppy passing to end the half, but I love how much depth we have, how we are moving on offense, how the ball is moving, and especially how we do not have to hold our collective breath hoping Caleb doesn't get into foul trouble because Liddel can absolutely hold his own.
