Basically saying they're a powerful team and they're going to do what it takes to shut Turner down and then we're essentially done for. It was as if they didn't watch the GT game to see what we did to a potential top 5 pick in the draft and big man in Favors. Ah well.
Probably Katz since he was in Providence and was around the Tennessee team for their first two games.Cornerback6;1680316; said:I can't remember if it was Katz or Gottlieb earlier I listened to on ESPN Radio and whichever one it was, they were practically gargling the sweat off of Chism & Williams' scrotum. MaxBuck;1679970; said:Well, at the end of the day, your opinion is worth what we paid for it, being your own two cents worth. The rest of us just need to give 110% and realize that we'll live or die by the three.
Oh, and we need to play for the name on the front of the jersey rather than the one on the back. (This one is being shot all to heck in the NIT, where both Texas Tech and UAB have the bright idea of putting their school names on the back. Go figure.)

I mean I know it's going to be a barnburner, but I think OSU comes out on top because ET really only hopes he can help the ballclub, because he's just happy to be there. I mean when the Buckeye circle the wagons, the Volunteers will man up, but I think at the end of the day, God willing, things will work out. For the Buckeyes. I expect Turner to hit a HUGE shot somewhere along the way (I know, right?) which will snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. The thrill of victory will be ours, and the agony of defeat will be Tennessee's. I expect both teams will give maximum effort, but at the end of the day, when all is said and done, and when the smoke has cleared, the Buckeyes will...emerge...victorious. And then they can think about their next opponent, because they take it one game at a time, and you never think about the next step in tournament play. The Buckeyes are getting hot at the right time, and I think that will pave the way to victory.

BlufftonBuckeye;1680696; said:So, your saying the slipper doesn't fit Tennessee? I suppose I agree, especially if ET scores the basketball. And gets in Chism's airspace.
southcampus;1680702; said:I'd put our chances of getting there at slightly better than a coin flip. Seriously, we can handle either MSU or NIU, all we need to do is pummel the Vols. Lets go Bucks!
Bucklion;1680706; said:ET has to squeeze the orange though, and take care of the basketball, because turnovers will determine the outcome of the game.
