The fact that Stern is so successful is not due to genius on his part but to the sensationalist and tabloid society that we have. It speaks way more about the people who are his fans than about him.
Saying Stern is a genius is like saying Springer is a genius - it's nonsense.

You are pretty clueless on this subject if you don't believe Stern is a genius in his field. Springer and Stern have nothing in common, Springer just stands there and lets hillbillies fight. Springer also tried his hand at radio and failed badly, again making you comparison laughable. Stern had sirius pay him over $500 million to talk for 5 hours a day on the radio, that alone is genius. The fact that sirius bullied XM into a merger after Stern took their listenership from 600,000 to around 5 million in a little over a year speaks to his abilities. As for loathesome, everyone says Stern is one of the nicest people you'd ever meet off-air.NightmaresDad;757975; said:
