have a feeling that liddell is going to have a huge game, which may not necessarily translate into a bunch of stats. he and young must hit the boards hard. andre, too, but he's recently had alligator arms with rebounds. andre getting 5+ rebounds seems like a bonus that would otherwise seem like a necessity. moreover, muhammad also can't be a ghost on the boards.
osu must up its tenacity by about 10 levels over minnesota's output. otherwise, kentucky will turn their jump-shooting deficiency into an advantage on the offensive boards. limit their putback opportunities and hope they don't catch lightning in a bottle from behind the arc.
game seems to boil down to extra possessions for uk (via offensive rebounds) and maintaining possessions for osu (via limiting turnovers).
looking forward to the game where liddell starts exploding to the basket instead of jump-stopping. i once had that same wish for muhammad, but i've given up on it.
