Boeheim probably should spend less time playing mind games with teams outside of his region, and spend more time on his opponent. I think I heard 3 interviews from Charlotte with Boeheim talking about how good Cornell is, how he thought his team would lose to Cornell, how Cornell should play with confidence, and how his 2-3 zone is amazing and so much different that any other zone.....even though his ppg on defense over his career is semi-average.
Maybe he just rubs me the wrong way, but I was definately for Butler. I also thought Cuse' was significantly overrated and had them ousted by Gonzaga in all 3 of my brackets. Thankfully, I had Butler beating the Zags to the elite 8.
Outside of a season with Carmelo, the most athletic forward in the country in Hakim Warick, and a great shooter in Gerry MacNamera, Boeheim has never impressed me much.
