#47's last game in Ohio Stadium

casey_buckeye

3rd time is a charm! Miami in January!
As we all know, Saturday is not only the last home game that AJ Hawk will play, but the number of his jersey will also never be worn again in Ohio Stadium. Saturday should not only be remembered as senior day, but also as the day Chic Harley's #47 is finally retired. Without Chic Harley, this great stadium, the great traditions, the great players, and all the great teams might not have been possible! We are all Buckeyes, and we have Chic Harley to thank that for! GO-BUCKS! GO-CHIC HARLEY!

And go AJ HAWK! One of the greatest linebackers ever to play at tOSU with the greatest linebacker name of all time. One hell of a football player, and from what I understand, one hell of a young man. I couldn't think of a more fitting person to put #47 into retirement.

That's something a lot of folks are overlooking because it's Senior Day and everyone is focusing on the seniors. You know AJ knows it, and is why I think he'll jack his game up to a level it's never been...

kind of cool that Harley's decendant Rob Harley will be playing his last game too. Hopefully it will go better than the last time (when they retired #47 and Rob got hurt).

what beautiful timing for sutton to be running his mouth about being sleighted.

A.J. has always played with great intensity, but if you've noticed recently, he's actually taken it to another level. Wonder if seeing the finish line to his Buckeye career is hitting home. Tomorrow's game will certainly be emotional, and next week, I'm sure we will see the exclamation point to an outstanding four years. Have truly enjoyed watching one of the great ones.

Look for the biggest hits of the year all to happen tomorrow when the clock hits 12:10. Nate Salley is known as the "crier" of the team, and has even admitted himself that hes going to choke up. Its great to see seniors that love the university so much, and its going to be great watching them play with emotion and savoring every second of their last game in "The Shoe."
