Chris Holtmann and crew land a big time pledge for the 2017 recruiting cycle.
Head coach Chris Holtmann and the new-look Ohio State basketball program have picked up a big time pledge tonight.
Dishing out a long list of scholarship offers to talented prospects recently, four-star small forward Musa Jallow has announced he will take his talents to Columbus from Bloomington, IN and roll with the Buckeyes after earning his offer from OSU nearly a month ago.
Committing to Ohio State over scholarship offers from Indiana, Vanderbilt, Virginia, and others, the 6-foot-5 200-pound Jallow, who was classified as a 2018 prospect this morning, is now considered as one of the top 150 recruits in the class of 2017. According to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, he’s currently pegged as the 31st small forward, and 120th overall player in the country.
First catching the eye of Holtmann and crew while at Butler, the Indiana native has shown a knack of putting the ball in the hole with a quickness during his time at Bloomington North High School. Last season on the court, Jallow averaged 24 points, nine rebounds, and three assists a contest for the Cougars.
Be on the lookout as the Land-Grant Holy Land recruiting team will have much more on Musa Jallow’s commitment to Ohio State coming soon.
