Soundly a little sloppy . Does it look like the Bucks are fatigued?
And thanks btw

I don't think they are physically fatigued; however, they are making a lot of mistakes (i.e. turnovers, charging fouls, missed defensive assignments, not blocking out, etc.).

If you don't have it on TV (ONN), you can follow the game on ESPN or Yahoo websites.

Seven more blocks tonight - 21 for the year. Last year we didn't get our 21st block until the 11th game. We are averaging more blocks this season than our season high last year.

I was also impressed with our shooting. After three straight games you expect the percentages to take a dive - they did not.

A bit lethargic in the first half but they got after it in the second (maybe they had a talk).

I didn't see the game but it looks like Conley embraces the role of a point guard. Only 8 points but 6 assists and 3 steals.

I went to all three games this weekend and thought Butler looked a little passive when Conley was running the point. It will be interesting to see how Butler plays at the off-guard position as the season progresses. He played pretty well tonight but hasn't been the scoring threat I expected.

Buckeyes shoot down Golden Flashes' upset hopes

Lewis best in tournament. KSU has too many turnovers

Associated Press

COLUMBUS - No need to feel sorry for No. 7 Ohio State while it waits for injured freshman star Greg Oden to return.
Ron Lewis led the way with 18 points and three teammates also hit double figures to lead the Buckeyes to an 81-59 victory over Kent State on Sunday in the BCA Classic championship game.
Jamar Butler, the only starter back, added 14 points, junior-college transfer Othello Hunter had 13 and freshman David Lighty finished with 10.
Lewis was the tournament Most Valuable Player for the Buckeyes (3-0). He was joined on the all-tournament team by freshman Daequan Cook.
Nobody hit double figures for Kent State (2-1), the defending Mid-American Conference regular-season and tournament champions. Omni Smith had nine points and three others had eight.
``In the second half, we just went away from our game plan defensively.'' Kent State coach Jim Christian said. ``They just got caught with a dear-in-the-headlights type look.''
The Buckeyes made half of their 26 3-point attempts and ended up shooting 55 percent from the field. Kent State had 20 turnovers and made just 4-of-15 shots behind the arc.
Ohio State has only eight scholarship players until Oden -- a prized 7-foot center -- is able to come back from surgery on his right wrist. As a result, there is little rest but a lot of playing time for a team with five first-year major-college players. On top of that, the Buckeyes play at a frenetic pace in their motion offense and stifling man-to-man defense.
The Buckeyes trailed 25-22 late in the half before going on a 9-0 run to take the lead for good. Lewis started it with a 3 and Butler made another before OSU made three free throws on the way to a 33-30 halftime lead.
``Kent State knocked us on our heels really for the first 16 minutes.'' Ohio State coach Thad Matta said. ``(Christian) had those guys ready to play.''
