Equivalent to around $8.50 a gallon here in the UK. Lots of interesting vehicles here. Certainly vehicles I haven’t heard of or models I haven’t seen in the US.

It's gone down then. When I was there 2006-2009 it was the equivalent of $9 here. Of course the exchange rate has changed a lot since those days. For a while 1 dollar was worth 48 pence.

Too soon old, too late smart
My eyes cross when I see gas alot lower than here, then look a tad harder and see that it's for a liter of gas - bit over a quart. Let alone the currency arbitrage you got going on Dubs. And certainly many of the motor vehicles are mopeds, etc that get 60 kilometers per gallon (don't know merely making a point). But the Hormuz thingy is going to play ping pong with the oil prices and hence stock market for a year or so.

Most people don't even have cars there. Everyone takes buses, the tube or occasionally a taxi. There's very little parking also. I remember when I used to take cabs, I'd always try to get in on the wrong side of the car if i was sitting in the front seat.
