$4.29 here, how about you?

The cheap place on my way to the office was $3.55 this morning (5:30am) and went up to $3.99 by the drive home (3:00pm). The station near my house was $3.79 all day but I wonder what it will be tomorrow if the other place went up that much.

Place by my house only went up to $3.82 this morning. "Cheap" place still at $3.99.

Gotta ask. What percentage of your 'cheap' gas is ethanol? Out here, the cheap gas (around $4.95 - $5.35) has signs saying no more than 10% ethanol. And yes, Costco is almost the cheapest, but has the 10% ethanol label. The 'good' gas is up over $5. Took my Subaru in for service, and guys told me that engines using Costco get fouled up the most. Just asking....

Here in NH it's all 10% for 87 octane, and I can get it for 3.65. Ethanol free is just over 5 a gallon and is all I use in my non car gas machines. Ethanol is horrible if your vehicle sits.
This gel is ethanol from a tractor carb that hadn't been used in six months. The previous owner couldn't figure out why it wouldn't start...20260627_111410.jpg

Both the stations I mention are Chevron and "No more than10%" is pretty much the standard everywhere. There are places that you can get ethanol free, like Wawa, but that is always 75 to 80 cents more a gallon.
