Gomer played a great game.. Things just werent going his way today.
His first drive ended on a pick 6 from an out route. He fought back and kept it close most of the game. Shilz showed why he lead the nation in completion percentage and methodically attacked the Buffalo defense until another big mistake finally started to cause seperation.
In the end the buffalos threw 4 interceptions including one to the Defensive tackle as he was bearing down on the QB. By the 4th quarter it became Jemil Martin's job to run up the gut of a wore down front seven.
Down 23 in the 4th the buffaloes made their bid and struck fast for a touchdown but the 2 point conversion was intercepted and returned for 2 points the opposite direction.
In the waining minutes coach Boss attempted a bit of gamesmanship by going for 2 in an attempt to double up the buffalos. After the pass bounced off a defender in the endzone. The defense got one final stop and proceeded to kill the clock with the ground game.

Tonight the Falcons celebrate after their first Rose Bowl appearance turns into their first Rose Bowl victory after a 52- 27 route of the #4 ranked Buffalos.
