ugh, why is it the same formation in different playbooks don't have the same plays? Theres one play that i used in a certain formation that was my bread and butter, but when I look at other playbooks that have the same formation they don't have that play in there, wtf

Syracuse is the most popular playbook along those lines (tenn, USC, Bama are others). I like Michigan State. It has the best variety, just not as good of shotgun routes. Syracuse has great routes but not enough option plays.

Vanderbilt has officially come out with a press release from the head coach

We took a long look over the offeseason in what direction we wanted our offense to go. We spend countless hours looking at tape and stats from the beginning of the season to the end of the season. We have determined our offense, and the rest of our team operated most efficiently when we slowed the pace down dramatically, and ran a more pro style offense. While we may not have scored as many points, we weren't giving up as many either as we always had huge gains in time of possession.

Also looking at our first game against Utah, we have decided we are not comfortable anymore running a spread offense when our QB can't hit his passes when receivers are wide open, and running the ball is a lot easier from under center because the computer AI seems more retarded that way then running from shotgun. Therefore, I am pleased to announced we will be going to a pro style offense, and our playbook will emulate....

UMMM...seems that the press release was cut off there for some reason, sorry for the technical difficulties, I guess the rest of the league won't know what type of play book Vanderbilt will now be running

We will know when we play you:biggrin: It says what playbook you use when the game is loading.

Ricky Dobbs is no longer the Navy QB and Navy started the game against Maryland with something to prove. Maryland was the favorite coming into the game after a 10-3 season last year with a young but talented squad. The inspired Midshipmen scored first with a 95+ yard fumble recovery for a TD and then added another score a few minutes later on a heave that almost left the atmosphere. The Terps put a drive together to get a score and the following drive Navy slowly but surely moved the ball capping the drive with another duck tossed up in the air that was tipped by a Maryland defender with great position, which then fell into the hands of the Midshpiman receiver's hands. It seemed like the football gods (read: CPU AI) wanted Navy to win this game to the tune of 4 Maryland turnovers in the first half (2INTS, Two FUM)

Maryland was staring a quick 14 point deficit in the face to a team that grinds the clock, plays well with the lead, and who gave Maryland all they could handle last season. During a timeout, the team came together on the sidelines and said "Enough is enough! If we don't want to roll over and fall out of the gate on this season, now is the time to let people know last season was no fluke. Get after the ball, hang on to it, and dominate."

The Terps scored 17 unanswered points in the last two minutes of the second half by going to the air and recovering a fumble on a kickoff to go into the locker room with a 3 point lead. A worked up Terp team came out in the second half and pounded Navy into submission with Sophmore Caleb Portzel finding pay dirt 5 times to seal the victory.

In front of a nervous Maryland home crowd after a half, Maryland finished the game with over 400 yards passing and over 200 rushing and 8 totoal TD's. Only one starter on Marylands roster didn't play a a down, Punter, Travis Baltz. And the Defense added 6 sacks in the second half.

So my stud Jr WR, Givens, got injured on the 2nd last play of the first game, I was running up the score, and he had over 200 yds receiving and a few TDs, it didn't show up on the injury report until I checked this game... ruptured disc (or something similar) out for the season :2004:
