first off...I hope my kicker burns in hell...had a 41 yd GW FG lined up, yea I was iced, but I'm almost positive I got almost full power on it, and it came up short...fuckin kicker can barely make 40 yd fg's....

now for my next rant, this was some of the most stupid AI I have ever seen while playing, I'm sure Merih would agree on this, my starting QB missed wide open WR's by about 10 yds (one led to an INT, it was on a fuckin curl route)...I hate when WR's don't jump, threw a long bomb with just my guy and his cb (or S) was comin up a bit short, but my WR just kept running, easy INT....

now, lots of credit to Merih, I honestly didn't know what to do with my offense (while some of it was because of my dumbass WR) a lot of it was with his coverages, prob the hardest defense I've had to read so far, I was having a tough time finding anyone open more than 10 yds down the field...

again, kicker, go to hell

Baylor takes it by the slimmest of margins, 38-37. Some quick points:

  • Ditto, my kicker can burn in hell too. Missed two gimmies that might have kept me out of the situation I was in at the end.
  • Ive never had an INT in my hands that got dropped, caught by the opposing receiver, and taken for a score. Crazy play.
  • Again, what else is new, I come out of the gate terrible. Down 14-0 before a 21 point eruption in the second quarter.
  • I had no clue you were going to go for two...but I can see why. Also, for some reason, I kept thinking you needed to score a TD with your last possession...when u ran the draw to line it up for a field goal I was like FUCK!
  • Defense, while shaky on big plays, did a decent job considering one TD came from a sack/strip/return and another came from the aforemention dropped pick = easy TD.
  • And finally, phew. GG 24, sucks we played before we knew our teams. I was literally figuring out my players names as I went along :lol:

yea, wish I coulda had one more week, I decided to bench my starting QB after he missed a WR by 20 yds running a drag route....guy is shit ton slower, but seems more accurate...

I guess I shoulda been happy I was even in FG range, I had to start my drive from my own 5 yd line..but i dinked my way all the way to the 50, before my slow ass QB ran 20 yds :lol: I thought I was in FG range there, ran one play up the middle, picked up 6 yds, and thought for sure I had it won as long as I didn't miss wide (kicker isn't accurate at all), couldn't believe it was short

and yea, I went for 2 because with the way my defense played, I thought for sure you would get in FG range with no time left...maybe that woulda been better :lol:

That 2nd INT i had really had me fuming for the next 30 minutes...I couldn't believe a QB would miss some1 that wide open (my wr ran a 10 yd curl, db kept running away, and ended up throwing to the db that was not only about 6 yds behind the WR, he was also about 5 yds to the left of him)

Damn... I wish I would have known my team a little better in week 1, but oh well... I am also starting to gain the opinion that I should go with the most accurate guy and scrap that speed, my qb's speed is only a factor in the option and occasionally scrambling... I am sick of these crazy passes that land out in Nebraska.

In week two, I had Navy (who is a rival, but also a cupcake now) and was able to find a good mix... My new HB is decent, The two Frosh linemen I have starting are both beasts and my D can be nasty....

It sucks losing this early and knowing week three will decide the ACC haha....

Oh, and my starting QB got hurt in the 3rd quarter so I had a chance to test my speed v accuracy qb theory.....
