SCLSU continues to give Atlanta fits. Straight up game, even used Mallett for 95% of the game.

HB Williams dominated on the ground and sustained many long drives. Four turnovers, three in scoring position and two returned for TDs were the difference (while SCLSU had 0).

Cut it to 6 late in the 4th but couldn't get a defensive stop. He tacked on a late score, 35-21.

Alabama traitor DT McIntosh knocked Hoover's qb out of the game in the first quarter while they were down 0-7.

6 turnovers (4 Hoover, 2 Atlanta), most in scoring position caused mike Leach to trade in his spread offense for 3 yards and a cloud of dirt.

ATL heisman hopeful hb Williams carried the load with 31 carries for 142 yds, compared to only 14 for 42 for the undersized Seastrunk.

24-8 final score.

I should be able to play either Friday night (assuming flights are on time) or Saturday. If everyone is in a hurry to advance I don't have a problem with simming or letting Myrtle play against the CPU. I don't have much to gain with a win in this game.

Can you guys do the offseason on Monday or Tuesday night? We'll be advancing to the bowl season soon, hopefully by this evening.

We might have some controversy in the bcs. I'm making Oregon take a dive in the civil war - they would probably lose, but I'm not taking that chance - which would leave myrtle #2 and Atlanta #3. The falcons would have one more chance to impress pollsters against Texas.

Eob, I used your squad to make #2 Oregon lose. Usually I temporarily add a team to do that... but I tried 5 times and it kept timing out, so you had the honors. Sometimes that makes the menu have some logos from other teams for a week or two.

my gonzo clone missed 12 weeks, came back today and is hurt again :lol:

Now to see if the voters will move Atlanta past myrtle on the strength of the title win.
