360 NCAA10 Movie Team Dynasty

Oh also I saw this on another site...thought it might be helpful for those with connection issues.

I talked to ea servers today after losing connection for the 3rd time in a row (winning 21-0) The # is 1-(650)628-1001. He ran me through a series of steps that should eliminate the problem. He explained the issue and it made sense. These steps kind of reset your connection. I will give you guys the steps if you don't want to call but he was very helpful.
1. sign out of xbox live
2. goto system settings
3. goto console settings
4. goto clock and date
5. set date at:11-25-2005
6. set time at: 12:00 am
7. go back to system settings and click on memory...
8. you should be at the "hard drive" screen press y
9. now on your controller press xx..lb..rb..xx and it should say something about maintenance now...press yes.
10. Now sign back in to xbox live and it should ask if you want to accept the updates. click yes
11. Finally...make sure the time on your xbox is the right time.

Like I said the guy I talked to was very helpful and explained the problem.

Hop this helps anybody with connection issues!

The joke/conspiracy on other NCAA 2010 boards is about a 'comeback code', so I wouldn't go blowing up the current sliders over a user game. Sometimes the CPU just goes on a tear.

If we get more bad feedback from user games, then I say we reconsider, but not before.
The "comeback code" is why I've been tracking the Varsity slider threads on OS. The only real drawback right now is the problem with making the run game hard enough. Everything else seems to test out alright. Hopefully they can find a working set...

I think the sliders have been pretty good in my dozen or two games so far. I'd be curious to hear an explanation about momentum, composure and other aspects and whether that plays into these perceived comebacks.

0-2, yikes. probably shouldnt have lost to UC, but untimely fumbles, and a couple pick 6's hurt my efforts. Sure, the 2 wide open dropped passes in the endzone couldve got me a win, but shoudnt have been close. My O-Line is still garbage, no time to throw, running is OK, and WRs drop too many balls.

Down 6 with 2min left, held them on 3rd down, and got a facemask penalty... oh well.

Maybe some good recruits will want to turn around Zissou, but its not looking good this season.

Need some group input.

I have not heard back from osustamm (vacation) or his opponent gomerbucks. I set osustamm to autopilot a few days ago but the game remains unfinished.

Cinci-zissou didn't register the results, but that can just be summed.

Joe hall plays tjntn. He might not be able to play tonight. If he can't, should I let jor play tjntn? Move the advance date back?

I wanted to try and get back on a consistent schedule where we'd advance again Wednesday, which is why I would hate to wait until tomorrow to advance.

I was thinking of giving folks till 9 PM or so tonight to play. Obviously if tjntn can't play and we went with that deadline, we'd put him on autopilot so joe could play.

What do you guys think? This is a sensitive dictatorship. :p

Played this matchup offline to see how I fared.

Pele is a very good back. I only broke 1 long run, but I was able to average about 4 YPC (on tough rushing) on the other carries.

Your QB is fairly mobile, if left unnoticed he can pull it down and hurt you on the ground. He isn't great at getting outside of the pas rush but not horrible either.

Your safeties are excellent, and I was able to generate a good 1 man pass rush by controlling the ends, jumping snaps, using custom moves. Not dominant by any means but enough to put some heat on the QB. You have a pretty good defense and a so so offense.

One thing that really hurts your offense is that your 5th WR is a CB who literally dropped 8 balls, and 7 were soft 5 yard passes with no coverage nearby. I'd recommend working your star TE into the mix at that position.

I would definitely recommend more practice, because it takes awhile to adjust to the pressure, pocket & pass rush of this game. On play action passes you often have to hit your underneath route immediately or you get creamed. You also might want to lighten up on the PA plays and go with more straight forward passing plays, as PA fakes put you in harms way for a minimal payoff against the defense.

When I first started practicing with the sharks, I was abysmal with Beamen (who is much faster than Plimpton), getting harrassed and turning it over all day. I went with the wily veteran most of the time, other than designed runs. After I got used to the game, the speed, blocking, the pressure/footwork/coverage limitations built into the game, Beamen was a lot easier to use.
