I'm pissed at Foth because he just took a chunk out of the monopoly I had on Ohio as a pipeline to UK. That was the strategic tipping point for Kentucky over Kansas for me. I didn't want to fight 3 other users for the same guys in Texas; I just wanted to fight the CPU for Ohio guys.

Interview with Coach Mac

I: When did you decide on which team you were going to coach?
M: I decided this morning when I woke up, I called my mom and she told me she just wanted me to be happy.

I: What made you choose UVA over the other schools?
M: The players, the atmosphere, and the tradition here at UVA is what stood out
I: What are your immediate expectations here at UVA?
M: Well, I fully expect our team to be in the hunt for the conference championship, and compete in a BCS bowl.
I: Any kind of changes to the system offensively or defensively?
M: While I am keeping an open mind, I won't be changing the entire schemes. But I do have some exciting changes that I will be implementing both offensively and defensively.

I: What's something new you'll be bringing to Virginia?
M: Look for football Saturdays, in Scotts Stadium, to be rocking. Laying the smackdown on our rivals, continuing the "Flying V", and lots of striped socks.

I: Thanks for your time coach and good luck this upcoming season.
M: Thanks.

We're not using the recruit advisor or recruit reports, so don't buy them.

Also, you can't save the online dynasty offline. We may want to figure out a system to have three users help make backups, especially for the offseason (if it is glitchy like last year). The simplest way would be to have 3 users rotate saving the dynasty file (when we advance) every three weeks.

For example:

bowls finished. - commish nope, merih nope, stamm save... bowl, ______, ____ backed up (___ = previous wks)
players leaving - commish save, merih nope, stamm nope... leaving, bowl, ____ backed up
recruiting Wk 1 - commish nope, merih save, stamm nope... wk 1, leaving, bowl backed up
recruiting wk 2 - commish nope, merih nope, stamm save... wk 2, wk 1, leaving backed up
recruiting wk 3 - commish save, merih nope, stamm nope... wk 3, wk 2, wk 1 backed up
recruiting wk 4 - commish nope, merih save, stamm nope... wk 4, wk 3, wk 2, backed up

etc.

The dynasty wire will save us a lot of BP space for writeups & stat/record keeping, but that's more of the formal publication with the conversation ongoing here.

I haven't used the dynasty wire much. Is it possible to make writeups like the one by Rachel Nichols here, or is the text/space limited?

What would you like to see tracked at the beginning of this thread? Award winners? Recruiting rankings? Final poll positions and overall records? human records?
