Big game. I don't think Florida is going to win this one, they have had a pretty easy road to this point and haven't won a single game all year by single digits. I picked Kansas to win this region, and I still think they were the best team in this region. One of these teams is going to find themselves in a semi-unexpected F4.

I was thinking maybe it was an SEC thing (they chant "SEC") or Civil War thing (North vs. South), but I can't really root for them either. Minus Indiana as well, I'd root for almost everyone else in the Big Ten.

But I'm also not really rooting for Florida.

I think we're getting a little ahead of ourselves here. We still haven't beaten Wichita State yet. You can never look past anyone in the tournament, let alone someone who's made it to the Elite Eight. IF, and I emphasize the IF we get to the Final Four, we still have to beat either Louisville or Duke just to get the the Final. Neither of those teams are slouches, so it's like we're a shoe-in for the Championship game or anything.

That being said, there's nothing wrong with having supreme confidence in our team. I'm pretty confident we'll win tonight, but it's not like we're guaranteed to do it. Looking past your opponents sometimes doesn't turn out so well, so let's focus on the task at hand, which is Wichita State.

While beating UM in the Final would be greatest feeling ever, both teams have to beat two opponents just to get there. I'm not putting a single thought to this possibility until it actually happens. As much as I'd love to see it happen, I don't want to see them even make it that far. Maybe be hatred for UM is stronger than others, but being our fiercest rivals, I always hope for them to lose. Every single game. Against every single opponent, no matter who. That's just me & I really have no problem at all with people wanting the conference to do well. I wouldn't condemn any tOSU fan who wanted UM to win for the sake of the conference, I'm just not one who would.

In every sport, until their athletic programs are shut down and athletic department is disbanded.
