Taosman

Your Cousin In New Mexxico
Saw this today, (it was raining all day. )
Decent wild west flick. Not in the "Pale Rider" or "Unforgiven" class.
But, still a very enjoyable flick.
Russell Crowe, Christian Bale and Peter Fonda(look close) provide a nice cast.
Slowish start, but gets better. Big shoot out at end. Not a too long movie.
Is a remake of a classic western.(1957 Glenn Ford, Van Heflin)

really good movie. christian bale is climbing my list of favorite actors.

He's been good in damn near everything he's done and made Batman cool again. I've been big on him since 'American Psycho'. Not a great adaptation of the book, but he played Patrick Bateman like I don't know that anyone else could have.

3:10 to Yuma- great flick.

The scene where russel crowe is stabbing the guy with the fork was about as disturbing from a sound perspective as I have seen.

Christian Bale is a very good actor. What he did for the Machinist is just sick though.

"Dirty blonde"? Mmmmm! Sounds good to me!

Sushi- I love what you have done with your hair. Taos captured it looking fantastic!

As for the flick, I saw it, can't say as though I was terribly impressed... glad I went but overall, I'd give it just about a 6 out of 10. I can't quite put my finger on why either. I'd say there were some subtle story lines that could have been developed a bit better, possibly providing it with a stronger plot... I do know I can't stop singing, "Gonna hang me in morning."
