Easter keeping busy this summer, planning move to new school this fall

National top 30 basketball prospect Jerry Easter will be headed to another school for his senior year this fall.

Ohio native Jerry Easter, one of the top basketball prospects in the 2025 class, is on the move again.

The 6-5 Easter announced recently he will play his upcoming senior year of high school at Link Academy in Branson, Mo. Easter spent his first two high school seasons at Toledo's Emmanuel Christian School before going to La Lumiere School in Indiana for his junior year.

Am grateful that we get pics from the visits, and all, but wondering about any sort of on-going dialogue with these recruits. Seems like they come, show up, put on Buckeye swag, take some great shots, get our hearts pumping, and then zippo. As a lifelong Buckeye, certainly get that 95% of the writers cover football instead of basketball, but gotta be somebody that chases after basketball stories, no? Finally, appreciate all the BP posters do, and maybe it's the case, that these kids come in, sample what we've got to offer, and lose interest after they go elsewhere? Seems like there are as many visits, but fewer second visits/commits than football. And yes, I do understand that the # of schollies are somewhat diminished from those of football. Probably the amount of NIL $ available also. go Bucks!

Totally correct but I thought I saw that one of our NIL groups was going to concentrate mostly on hoops. If so, we might have a cache that we haven't heard much about that is working in the shadows a bit and maybe why we are also seeing Diebs with a bit more success thus far as well. I hope it continues in the upward trajectory though because I want to see a Natty before I die in all of the sports and Hockey and Baseball are trailing significantly at the moment.

Was around when Lucas, Havlicek, Nowell, Siegfried, etc won their first (only?) Nati in 1961. Then lost two in a row to Cincy....Moe Thacker and Paul Hogue (of the coke bottle glasses). Before I go to the big sleep would like to see another banner hoisted as well Bestbuck....While we're at it, one on the distaff side for the women as well. Never did like a ball that didn't bounce true. Go Bucks!
