#21 Ohio State vs. #22 Wisconsin, Dec 11th, Noon, BTN

So damn cool Redd is still coming back and following the team. He is one of my favorites in his days at OSU and he is still invested. Freaking awesome.

What if....

The early season choppiness was just a team figuring out how to play together rather than a lack of actual talent? Yeah there are some roster issues (Sueing and Towns being healthy would address them in a few ways), it just seems like this team is coming together at the right time for a strong run.

This is spot on. I thought the talent was there, but hell...you are trying to piece together all these different players in such a condensed time? I have said it in other threads, but the ridiculous expectations of some fans just baffles me. CH is a damn good coach and we have talent on our roster. In particular, I am loving how Russell and Wheeler are coming along, huge pickups. Liddell is having fun out there and I love to see him smiling. Team chemistry and bond is just way underrated, and this team is getting there quickly imo.

As to this game...started off pretty sloppy, but we found ways to make it work the whole game. I hate Bucky and this was a really nice game to pull away with. Really like the trajectory of this team right now, let's keep it rolling.

Yep. As a fan, it's never a good idea to get too high or too low on your team in November and December. It's a long season and it's a grind. Teams are almost never the same come March.

“This was a quality win over a real quality team and program,” OSU coach Chris Holtmann said. “We know how good Wisconsin is and how consistent they’ve been and how well coached they are. Obviously, they had an emotional win (over Indiana) a couple of nights ago. I give our guys a lot of credit.

“Outside of some turnovers early and some of the sloppy plays in that particular area, I was really pleased with our effort here. We had a good week. We had a road win (at Penn State), a tough win (over Towson) at midweek and we finished up with a home win.”
