2026 tOSU @ Iowa BMW Thread

Pathetic….did we not learn anything at Texas

[Captain Buckeye]

don’t get the defense at all… gave up 120 yards through 3 quarters and then hot knife through butter vs Iowa.

[Captain Buckeye]

let’s see if we learned absolutely anything from Texas here.

JESUS FUCKING CHRIST

[AuTX Buckeye]

12 men on the 2pt. Yeah. It’s all the tools.

most of those dudes were out there getting torched so maybe they thought they were back on the field for D…

[AuTX Buckeye]

…. Smith …. kinda chokie when the pressure is on and its not wide open?

We absolutely did. Great work Smith and Co.

[Captain Buckeye]

Sometimes it’s ok to not score…. This drive just needed to be sustained and that’s exactly what we’ve done.

Hopefully can punch it in but if not this is exactly what we needed to do.

Can we throw to someone else. I like the duo, but let’s use the tight-end and other receivers a bit more.

I mean no one has stopped this passing game yet. I think JJ is getting a bit tired though now with 2 drops.

So at least early it’s probably not bad to just throw to 4 but would be nice for a knockout blow from another WR late

[Captain Buckeye]

A 9 minute game ending drive by the offense.

Thats how you do it.

[BuckBackHome]

The final score did not match my prediction. Fire Them ALL!!!

[Captain Buckeye]

Patricia seemed to adjust a good bit after the first few drives. Saw less of the 5 man fronts with man to man. Instead a ton more regular 2-3 man LBs at regular depth and a bunch more zone.

I’d imagine the answer is somewhere between these two approaches. Have to be able to successfully play man but also can’t just roll that out or teams will just murder you.

Great to see the offensive line finish the game right.

Would like to see the penalties cleaned up because that hurt a few drives for both the offense and defense. Iowa is lucky this wasn’t a 42-10 game.

Paging @Jaxbuck for a play call suggestion.

I was doing shit today but saw the 1Q stats. Called Day.

He got the message.
