2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments - NCAA: no wins taken away, no postseason ban

Their schedule this year:

They play their first non-conference road game in 7 years when they go to Oklahoma just before Moore’s suspension starts.

They play only 1 team that won more than 7 games last year. If you don’t realize who that is, you‘re on the wrong board.

Fuck these cheating pricks.

Yep things continue to only go favorably for them. Their roster and coaches are pretty average at best but with this schedule they will probably stumble into 9 wins. Just can't trust teams like USC and Corn not to go full stupid and play into scUMs "strengths" allowing them to win.

As long as we’re hanging loss number 3 or more on their sorry asses in November …..

I REALLY want them to go 0-12. But, with this schedule, I can find it funny if they go 9-3 (losing to us, of course), make the playoff, even though their resume isn't as good as another team's, and then get smoked in the first round. Lose to Louisville 52-0.

Justa dream: the bucks nail them in AA. Beat them again in theCCG. Then beat them a third time in the playoffs. A trifecta! Or a trifucyou.
I like it. Still, I vote for 0-12. But if we get your dream, that'd be pretty awesome.
Even better... this wouldn't happen with the existing system, but imagine beating them in AA, then in Indy, then in Columbus. That'd mean Ohio State is the 5th conference champion, and I don't see that happening. Maybe if/when the playoffs go to 16 teams, it could happen.

No thanks. Them making the playoffs would just give them ever more "look we don't need to cheat to be successful" empowerment.

I guess I could tolerate them being 9-2 going into the game and the us beating them to eliminate them from the playoff. That's more winning than I'd like but the fact is with their schedule this might be a real possibility

I know this isn’t a popular thought on BP, but the rest of the Big Ten minus Penn State looks mediocre. Without any real punishment from the ncaa, Michigan could be 10 - 1, coming into Columbus.
We already fucked up the "at Columbus" part last year. This year is in AA .....

Hopefully they're 9-2 and we give them that special third loss.

I think 9-2 is somewhat likely. 10-1 might be a bit ambitious. Neither will be because Michigan is actually as good as that record though. Their schedule is pure chicken shit, the more capable teams tend to be annual fuck ups for the most part and will likely do Michigan the favor of playing right into their strengths just like last year.

Knowing the roll of good luck these clowns are on they will stumble into the playoffs With 2 losses without beating a single ranked team and find themselves getting a laughably favorable 1st round matchup. Before finally being eliminated by a actual good team in the 2nd round. Still though watching them get to the playoff and win a game would be infuriating

I’m not convinced they’ll be able to replace their DTs that easily. And starting Underwood means more explosive plays but more turnovers. Can’t just run out the clock anymore when you’re paying top dollar for recruits and need to show improvement.

They won't plug and play replace those DTs, I think their D actually finally takes a step back a bit, but take away Ohio State and their toughest opponents are Oklahoma, USC, Nebraska and Washington. Oklahoma and USC on paper should beat them but can they really be trusted? They showed last year they can't. Corn and Washington are probably tossups but I don't trust them to get it done either. They probably go no less than 2-2 in those games. They'll likely be beaming with hope coming into the game because the 3 games leading up to it are 3 bottom feeders in Purdue, Maryland and Northwestern, even with a step back they likely make easy work of those 3
